ANSYS Mechanical

A suite of Finite Element Analysis software that  incorporates its own pre / post processor and advanced solvers can perform linear, non-linear, dynamic, thermal analysis as well as complex multiphysics interactions.

ANSYS was started by John Swason in 1970 for the Nuclear indsutry it has since grown to be one of the largest suppliers of Finite Element Software in the world and is commonly found but not limited to the aerospace and automotive industries.

Simcenter FEMAP

A preprocessor and postprocessor, used for creating input files used in a Finite Element Analysis.

FEMAP was started by George Rudy in 1985 to simplify the Finite Element Analysis process. This software is not solver specific but it is tightly integrated with Nastran.

Simcenter Nastran

A Finite Element Analysis solver that can perform linear, dynamic and thermal analysis.

Nastran was originaly developed for NASA in 1964, it has evoled over the years with ever increasing capabilities. Simcenter Nastran is powerful Finite Element Solver commonly used in the aerospace and automotive industries.

ADINA

A Finite Element Analysis solver that can perform linear, non-linear, dynamic and thermal analysis.

ADINA was originaly developed in 1986, by Dr. Klaus Jurgen Bathe. This Finite Element Analysis software is known for its powerful non-linear implicit and explicit solver.
